Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a senior strategy professional to help design specialty pharmacy networks and contracting strategies that improve affordability while preserving member access. You will analyze network performance, develop cost-reduction plans, and present recommendations to senior leadership across enterprise stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, analyze, evaluate, and implement specialty pharmacy network strategies and contracting opportunities that support affordability goals.
• Develop and execute specialty pharmacy network optimization strategies, including network design and market-based reimbursement methodologies.
• Support strategic planning, financial and qualitative analysis, and business case development for contracting decisions.
• Translate network dynamics into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Present network strategies and affordability opportunities to executives and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments and external partners to advance affordability solutions.
• Identify and monitor industry trends affecting network performance and cost management.
• Engage with specialty pharmacies, PBMs, vendors, and providers to evaluate opportunities and resolve challenges.
