Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City seeks an Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead system-wide readiness for Joint Commission, CMS CoPs, and state regulations across community hospitals and Rural Health Clinics.

You will develop standardized processes, guide leaders, manage a distributed team, and ensure readiness for unannounced surveys while fostering a culture of safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or 5+ years hospital accreditation and regulatory compliance experience.
• 5+ years healthcare experience.
• Experience leading accreditation programs and teams.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS CoPs, and state regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-wide accreditation and regulatory readiness across community hospitals and Rural Health Clinics.
• Coordinate compliance with Joint Commission, CMS CoPs, and state regulations.
• Oversee Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance Department staff across locations.
• Develop standardized processes and staff education plans.
• Ensure readiness for unannounced surveys and regulatory changes.
