Job summary

E2 Optics, a fast-growing, woman-owned technology integrator, seeks a Strategic Accounts Program Manager to oversee a nationwide hyperscale data center portfolio and lead multi-million-dollar construction programs. You will drive the relationship strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure delivery on time and on budget, and provide accurate program reporting through the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years in telecom/data center, PMP, RCDD, OSHA, and strong

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Business Administration or Construction preferred.
  • 7-10 years' telecommunications/low voltage management and revenue growth experience.
  • 10+ years construction/telecommunications/data center industry experience with strong background in multiple facets of technology.
  • RCDD certification is preferred; BICSI Technician Certified preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Ability to quote every aspect of the structured cabling system and testing.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints of building floor plans and construction designs.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the overall relationship with a strategic hyperscale data center client.
  • Manage national program projects impacting the client's datacenter portfolio.
  • Lead complex, multi-million-dollar construction hyperscale data center projects.
  • Identify program requirements, ensure operational integrity, and support the program lifecycle.
  • Drive relationship strategy for E2 Optics within the strategic account nationwide.
  • Produce accurate reporting of program status and oversee contracts, finances, and profitability.
  • Travel up to 50% or as required by E2 Optics and/or the customer(s).

What You'll Do

The Program Manager will be primarily responsible for proactively managing the overall relationship with a strategic hyperscale data center client. This position will manage national program projects impacting the critical infrastructure for the client's datacenter portfolio. The Program Manager leads complex, multi-million-dollar new construction hyperscale data center projects and is responsible for identifying the program requirements, operational integrity, engaging with internal customers and supporting the program through the entire project life cycle.

  • Drives collaboration with Company's Safety, Quality, Cost Controls, Continuous Improvement and Operations Teams to ensure delivery of successful projects in excellence, on time and on budget.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle. Oversees project proposals, contracts, finances and ensure profitability is being maximized. Acts as the primary point of escalation before escalating to corporate management.
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel up to 50% or as required by E2 Optics and/or the customer(s).
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree required. Business Administration or Construction is preferred.
  • 7-10 years' telecommunications/low voltage management and revenue growth experience.
  • 10+ years construction/telecommunications/data center industry experience with strong background in multiple facets of technology.
  • Certifications: RCDD certification is preferred BICSI Technician Certified preferred.

  • Ability to understand and effectively quote every aspect of the structured cabling system including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbone copper, backbone fiber optic, cross-and inter- connections, and testing.
  • Proficient with reading and understanding blueprints of building floor plans and construction designs.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
