Spherion Staffing and Recruiting NE Georgia is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager in Gainesville, GA to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This leader will manage month-end and year-end closes, reconciliations, and internal controls, while guiding executive decision-making with accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required.
• 4-7 years of experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• ISO 9001 familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare, review, and approve reconciliations (bank, sub-ledgers, intercompany, suspense).
• Maintain GL integrity and chart of accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs Actual).
• Provide variance explanations to executives.
• Work hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
