Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking an Accounting/Data Manager to ensure that all personnel who input data, forms, and reports into the automated, web-enabled MIS system do so with the highest level of accuracy and proficiency. You will oversee data entry, payroll processing, and preparation of financial statements and journal entries.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience with NTD data reports, and payroll processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have experience preparing NTD data reports.
• Some accounting experience preferred.
• Two (2) years payroll processing preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Submit all employee benefit applications and ensure the appropriate deductions take place.
• Ensure accuracy of preliminary and financial statements, prepare journal entries.
• Prepare projections as required by local, regional and corporate management for forecasting purposes.
• Prepare and submit payroll.
• Data entry into client systems
• Review daily Road Supervisor / Dispatch Logs and Daily Missed Trip Reports.
• Oversee Data Clerk's daily duties.
