Job summary

WinChoice is seeking an Accounting Controller to oversee the integrity and timeliness of the company's accounting operations and financial reporting.

You will own the general ledger, manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and develop accounting controls and policies under GAAP. Collaboration with VP of Finance and leadership is essential.

The role emphasizes building structure, accountability, and a strong control environment within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
• Experience owning general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting under GAAP.
• CPA designation, or progress toward CPA, is a plus but not required.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger and ensure complete, accurate classification of all accounting activity.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) per GAAP.
• Develop, document, and maintain accounting controls and policies.
• Coordinate with external CPA firms and other financial professionals.
