Job summary

CSS is seeking a Manager - Strategic Account Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement to drive performance for an assigned strategic customer. You will lead procurement, sourcing, inventory management, supplier performance, demand planning, and service delivery to meet customer requirements efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years in Sales or Program Management Operations.
• 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Ability to initiate and develop relationships with key customers and contractors.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning and resources allocation.
• Leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources.
• Ability to travel 0% - 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to several functions with the goal of providing value-added services for clients and ensure accurate and timely order processing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and issue resolution
• May manage operations at multiple sites, integrating various warehouse management systems, reporting tools, and customer-centric value-added services
• Engage with internal departments such as Sales, Operations, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Human Resources, and Finance to ensure cohesive program management
• Cultivate strong, professional relationships with key customer stakeholders, including Sales, Program Management, Material Supervisors, Construction Coordinators, Project Engineers, and Project Managers
• Develop and implement operational strategies and solutions that align with customer goals and expectations
• Uphold adherence to standard operating procedures, policies, data exchange and integrity with customer/partners, and internal audit controls
• Contribute to the development and management of annual budgets for assigned locations
• Spearhead efforts to enhance operational efficiency and productivity across all assigned locations
• Oversee best practices for hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of the team, fostering growth and effectiveness
• Guide the team to achieve goals, drive customer excellence initiatives, set and track performance targets, and manage employee performance
• Oversees the partnership with Sales to execute strategic account plans with key accounts and for continued understanding of key business issues, and strategy to deliver value
