A leading company in the fitness industry is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to oversee growth in YMCA and JCC accounts. This position involves collaboration, sales support, and meeting sales goals while providing feedback to product management. The ideal candidate should have extensive industry experience and a strong educational background.
Description
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Senior Strategic Account Manager – YMCA & JCC, the Strategic Account Manager – YMCA’s/JCC EAST is someone who performs a variety of sales related duties and provides sales support in accordance with company policies and procedures. This is a supervisory position.
Responsibilities:
Sales Related:
· Collaboration with Matrix NE & SE Regional Directors and Territory Managers for Strategic planning for growth of Matrix brand in the YMCA and JCC EAST accounts
· Coordinate implementation of strategies with each Matrix Territory Manager & Regional Director
· Be available to assist TM’s with key YMCA EAST customer opportunities
· Monitor the new opportunities volume each month and total pipeline of all YMCA and JCC EAST opportunities
· Provide Product Management with product, market and customer feedback/information
· Regularly provide management with accurate reports
· Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
· Follow all related procedures & policies
· Attend periodic industry trade shows which usually require travel

Requirements
Education:
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus additional training or education such as an associates degree with combination of experience required
· Bachelor's degree preferred in relevant field preferred
Experience:
· 5+ years of industry experience as a proven producer required
· Sales forecasting and reporting capability required
· Working knowledge of the commercial fitness industry; dues paying facilities or vertical market required
· 2 years or more of YMCA and/or JCCA account sales preferred
Other Requirements:
· Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer required
· Software experience with CRM (SFDC), Auto Sketch or similar preferred
· Drivers license required with acceptable motor vehicle record for extensive domestic travel for customer site visits, trade shows, sales meetings, etc.
