Position Summary:
Travere Therapeutics is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to drive strategic alignment rooted in shared priorities with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Academic Centers of Excellence, and Large Nephrology Group Practices. The SAM will identify mutual goals across clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and population health impact, facilitating long-term partnerships that support clinical pathway integration, value-based care models, and multidisciplinary coordination. This is a field-based, above-brand strategist role responsible for aligning Travere's commitment to advancing care for rare glomerular diseases such as IgA nephropathy and FSGS with the strategic imperatives of healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Account Strategy & Engagement:
  • Lead strategic planning and execution across target healthcare organizations, aligning on shared clinical, operational, and economic priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts using data-driven market opportunity assessments, institutional fit, and engagement readiness.
  • Develop tailored account engagement plans and review processes that enhance rare kidney disease care models.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Build high-value relationships with C-suite leaders, clinicians, P&T stakeholders, care pathway leaders, and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Facilitate collaborations to develop best practices in clinical pathways, early diagnosis, and care transitions.
    • Identify opportunities to expand access, improve diagnosis rates, and support kidney preservation strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Serve as primary contact and coordinator among internal teams including Medical Affairs, Field Medical, Marketing, TLLs, Sales, Patient Advocacy, HEOR, Patient Services, and Market Access.
    • Lead internal planning for strategic accounts, ensuring coordination of education, peer programs, REMS, and clinical protocols.
    • Track key metrics, deliver performance updates, and develop action plans.
  • Insights & Impact:
    • Capture and communicate insights to inform strategy, education, and access initiatives.
    • Monitor and report on progress regarding pathway adoption, patient identification, engagement, and resource utilization.

    Education/Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees (MBA, MPH, MHA, PharmD, MS) preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries; experience in nephrology, rare diseases, or specialty care preferred.
    • Proven success in strategic account management and healthcare system engagement.

    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

    • Flexible in adapting to project modifications and strategic shifts.
    • Ability to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally.
    • Must meet credentialing requirements for healthcare facility access within your territory.

    $170,000.00 - $221,000.00
