The University of Rochester is seeking an Academic Finance Advisor to partner with senior academic leaders in strengthening budgeting, financial operations, and reporting capabilities across the institution.

You will lead assessments of academic financial operations, develop budgets and governance materials, and deliver targeted education programs to support financial transformation and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience with budgeting, financial planning, and reporting in higher education.
• Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior academic leaders on budgeting and financial operations.
• Lead assessments of academic financial operations, funds flow, and reporting capabilities.
• Develop and maintain academic budget guidebooks, policies, and governance materials.
• Design and deliver financial education programs and workshops for academic finance teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and change management initiatives to improve practices.
• Evaluate systems and processes for optimization and future-state improvements.
