Job summary

Texas Capital Bank is seeking an Asset Based Lending Portfolio Manager responsible for the relationship and approval process for credit requests from existing ABL clients. The role requires leading deals with minimal oversight, monitoring portfolio quality, and acting as a liaison between Credit and the Line of Business.

The candidate will manage credit approvals, assess risks, and provide efficient follow-up while delivering best-in-class client service and portfolio analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commercial Banking, or equivalent/relevant program.
• 3+ years’ experience in ABL Portfolio Management with formal Credit training.
• Exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; proven leadership and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of credit related responsibilities for the Analysts and Associates, including financial statement spreading and validation of various underwriting models.
• Responsible for risk rating assessment and periodic relationship reviews.
• Partner with Relationship Manager in credit agreement review and negotiation.
• Ownership of all credit approvals (new facilities, modifications, renewals, increases, risk assessments).
• Identification of key risks and issues pertinent to each credit request, including potential mitigants for identified risks.
• Direct client contact is expected.
• Own portfolio reporting and analytics: grade-migration, past-dues, exceptions, coming-due maturities, etc.
