Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Job Conditions

• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Covered safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Additional Job Information

New Straight Truck drivers will enter our spare pool after obtaining their license. They do not have a set schedule and may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift. After six months, new drivers are eligible to bid on open shifts.
