Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a straight truck driver in Kentucky to deliver to designated locations and operate loading/unloading equipment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, six months of FedEx Express experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and communicate in English. This non-covered safety-sensitive role requires a medical exam and adherence to FMCSA/FMCSA guidance.

Minimum Education

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months FedEx Express experience and a valid drivers license.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
