Job Description
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department to achieve desired sales objectives, goals, and budgets. Responsible for staffing the department and developing associates to achieve desired results. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the store e-Commerce department meets/exceeds customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Interview, select, and hire candidates to staff the online shopping department.
- Meet product flow demands and create schedules according to guidelines.
- Develop associates to meet productivity standards and certify them once they meet or exceed goals.
- Ensure associates follow local, state, and federal laws, as well as all food safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Train associates on all functions and duties of the order selector and customer attendant roles.
- Lead the team in planning, implementing, and executing e-Commerce initiatives.
- Achieve or exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, wage budgets, and other targeted goals, including customer satisfaction leading to repeat sales.
- Assist in analyzing and responding to the competitive landscape.
- Ensure orders are filled with requested products or suitable substitutes in a timely manner.
- Implement best practices for substitutions when items are out of stock.
- Streamline processes for order collection, product selection, checkout, and delivery.
- Report inventory issues such as out-of-stock items promptly.
- Troubleshoot equipment and devices used in the e-Commerce department.
- Provide feedback to management on operational plans and programs.
- Report item shelf allocation issues to the division team.
- Monitor and control departmental expenses.
- Ensure preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Supervise and coach direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
- Work effectively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
- Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Qualifications
MINIMUM
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven supervisory experience
- Experience in hiring processes
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk constantly
- Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch several times per hour
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
