Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, a leading exterior building products manufacturer, is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to drive internal and external messaging. You will write, edit and coordinate content across channels, partner with leaders, and manage multiple communications projects from concept to execution.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, exceptional writing and editing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or related field.
• 3-5 years of communications experience.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience communicating with employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with media relations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and AI technologies to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Create content for employee-facing channels, including email, intranet, digital signage, videos and leadership communications.
• Draft press releases, media statements, fact sheets and external announcements.
• Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop effective messaging.
• Support town halls, employee meetings and engagement initiatives by creating presentations, developing supporting communications materials, analyzing survey results and preparing post-meeting summaries.
• Maintain and update content calendars.
