Job summary

Flying Horse Farms in Mount Gilead, Ohio, is seeking a Creative Content & Digital Communications Coordinator to craft stories across words, images, and video. You’ll capture authentic moments from campers, families, volunteers, and donors, then translate them into engaging content that supports the mission and fundraising.

This hands‑on role blends writing, photography, film, social content, and website updates, with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, digital media, or a related role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt content for a variety of audiences and communication channels.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging digital content through writing, photography, video, and social media.
• Experience managing social media platforms and developing content that builds audience engagement.
• Working knowledge of photography, videography, and basic photo/video editing tools.
• Familiarity with website content management systems and email marketing platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling written, visual, and digital content that brings the Flying Horse Farms mission to life.
• Capture authentic stories featuring campers, families, volunteers, donors, staff, and partners.
• Develop, schedule, publish, and monitor engaging content across social media and other digital channels.
• Support website updates and digital campaigns while using performance insights to strengthen audience engagement.
• Capture photography and video during camp sessions and events, and edit content for use across channels.
• Collaborate with creative partners and maintain organized digital media and assets.
• Ensure content reflects FHF’s brand, voice, values, and inclusive communication standards.
