Responsibilities

• Be chief storyteller for the CI Salvation Army units.
• Manage CI social accounts and provide content for The Salvation Army YouTube channel.
• Provide 24-hour monitoring of social media to stay current with unit activities.
• Develop and manage relationships with local press; prepare press materials.
• Oversee CI website, calendar, blog updates, and unit sites.
• Train officers and staff on the web platform (Zesty) and troubleshoot.
• Engage in Generative Engine Optimization through Zesty and Google.
• Assist Special Events Manager with online promotions for events.
• Attend events to capture photos and share updates in real time.
