Job summary

Wedding Weekender is redefining wedding videography by renting camcorders for families to film the weekend, then editing into films true to each couple.

We are building a scalable post-production team and seek a creative editor for full-time freelance work (remote-friendly) to edit, color grade, mix audio, and deliver on-brand films. You will work with the Post-Production Specialist and Director, stay current on editing trends, and contribute inspiring ideas to elevate our wedding films.

Qualifications

• Professional experience editing wedding films or similar narrative/event video content.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, music selection, and emotional editing.
• Able to take direction and apply feedback consistently; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Edit wedding films from raw footage to final delivery per client briefs.
• Craft compelling narratives with pacing, structure, and music selection.
• Color correction and color grading for a polished, consistent look.
• Balance audio levels, reduce background noise, and sync sound for a final mix.
• Ensure edits reflect Wedding Weekender's brand and meet deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback from Post-Production Specialists and Director.
