Job summary

WGME, part of Sinclair Inc., in Portland, Maine, is seeking a full-time News Photographer who can tell compelling stories behind the lens. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of ENG news experience with a network affiliate and can cover general assignments as well as in-depth features and investigations.

You will shoot in HD, edit on desktops and laptops, and bring strong non-linear editing skills, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of shooting experience with editing and photo equipment.
• Team player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate ENG news vehicles.
• Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages.
• Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis.
