Job summary

Isidore Newman School in New Orleans seeks a Creative Digital Content and Multimedia Coordinator to tell our story through photography, video, and written content. You will collaborate with the Director of Communications to capture authentic moments from classrooms, performances, and events for social media, newsletters, and the website.

The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller, proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, photography, video, and storytelling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in communications, marketing, journalism, digital media, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in digital content creation, social media management, communications, or related field.
Experience creating content for social media platforms including photography, video, and graphic design.
Experience in education, nonprofit, or community-centered organizations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Newman’s social media presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
Create engaging photography, short-form video, graphics, captions, stories, and reels.
Capture moments from classrooms, performances, athletics, events, and community celebrations.
Coordinate a strategic social content calendar aligned with the school calendar and initiatives.
Monitor engagement and maintain a positive, welcoming online presence.
Tag along with the Communications Manager to ensure brand consistency.
