Fable Studio, the Emmy Award-winning team behind groundbreaking animated storytelling, is seeking a Storyboard Artist with a sharp eye for emotional nuance, comedic timing, and visual storytelling to join us on a slate of comedy and drama projects across both short-form and long-form formats in an exciting emerging medium of AI storytelling.We’re looking for someone who can bring innovative and fresh interpretations to scripts, and who can work hand-in-hand with our Chief Creative Officer and Directors to help shape the vision of exciting new animated projects.What You'll Do

• Create expressive, cinematic storyboards that bring characters, humor, and heartfelt moments to life,
• Collaborate closely with creative leadership to visually interpret scripts in compelling and original ways,
• Use a mix of AI-assisted tools and traditional drawing methods to produce storyboards efficiently without compromising on craft,
• Deliver boards that communicate staging, acting, pacing, and tone across a range of emotional and comedic beats,
• Contribute creatively in brainstorming and story sessions,

Skills & Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to tell stories visually with clarity, emotion, and humor,
• Experience with both short-form (series, sketches, commercials) and long-form (specials, features, or pilots) formats,
• Strong proficiency in drawing (digital or traditional) and AI storyboarding tools,
• Comfortable with AI-based workflows for rapid iteration and visual exploration,
• Collaborative mindset with the flexibility to work across evolving story ideas and character arcs,
• Excellent communication and storytelling instincts,
  Bonus:
• Screen credits on animated feature films or series
• A thoughtful approach to integrating AI with traditional storytelling techniques
