As a Stormwater Senior Engineer/Project Manager, you'll be responsible for taking a lead role in the development and


delivery of stormwater projects in Southern California. This role is responsible for planning, design, and management of


stormwater and drainage projects including, but not limited to:




  • Stormwater management facilities

  • Site drainage

  • Storm drain improvements

  • Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GI)

  • Best Management Practices (BMPs) for water quality treatment

  • Low-impact development

  • Green Streets

  • Perform watershed and water quality assessments and BMP prioritization

  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of stormwater facilities

  • Perform other duties as needed



In this role, you will work closely and manage other engineers to prepare both planning level and design level projects


including reports and contract/bid documents, and work collaboratively with other design disciplines and subconsultants to


provide integrated solutions. This role reports to and works closely with the Stormwater Business Class Lead.

Preferred Qualifications




  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

  • 7 years related experience with at least 5-years experience in the preparation of drainage reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates

  • 2 years project management experience

  • California Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License is mandatory

  • Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design of drainage projects

  • Experience with hydrology, hydraulic/drainage design and drainage facility design software

  • Experience with supervising staff

  • Experience with business development

  • Preference given to local candidates



Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 years related experience
  • A minimum 2 years project management experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
