Job summary

Apex Companies, a leading environmental and civil engineering firm, is hiring a Laborer/Technician (Driver) to support stormwater maintenance across Southern California. You will be part of a field crew performing underground cleaning using vacuum trucks and pressure washers, ensuring the water returns to the ocean remains clean.

You will gain hands-on experience with stormwater devices and infrastructure, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• You must have a valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
• You can communicate in English (reading and writing).
• Overtime is required.
• Able to lift between 25-75 lbs throughout the day.
• Kneeling, bending, and squatting are performed throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean stormwater systems.
• Remove debris and sediment.
• Pump out water from vaults and filtration systems.
• Assist with remediation work on bio-swells and underground infrastructure.
• Training provided for this role.
