Job summary

Apex Companies in Rockville, MD is seeking a Stormwater Project Manager to lead and deliver complex stormwater programs from cradle to grave, coordinating with private and municipal clients and guiding reporting and invoicing.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication and multi-tasking abilities; understanding of safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage stormwater projects from cradle to grave.
• Collaborate with private and municipal clients.
• Participate in proposal writing, client interaction, reports review, and invoicing.

Your Responsibilities as a Stormwater Project Manager:

• Managing stormwater projects from cradle to grave
• Working with various clients from private to municipal
• Involved with proposal writing, client interaction, reviewing reports and invoicing
• Actively develop your own career growth with opportunities to assist with field and reporting tasks.
• Work directly with staff and management-level team members with field and reporting responsibilities.

What we're looking for:

• BA/BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field.
• 6+ years of experience in the environmental consulting field
• The ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
