Our offices in Tennessee and Georgia are actively seeking an experienced Stormwater Engineer with over six years of expertise in stormwater management projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tasks for a variety of stormwater projects, including watershed and floodplain studies, closed stormwater systems, and green infrastructure projects for state, municipal, and private clients.
  • Lead the design and preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Lead the preparation of reports and other technical documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of EPSC plans and development of SWPPPs.
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and regulatory submissions.
  • Conduct fieldwork, including site assessments, data collection, and construction observation, as required.
  • Support QA/QC of designs, reports, and calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Effectively convey project work, schedules, and results verbally and in writing.
  • Present project information at client and community meetings.
  • Coordinate design development and provide technical direction to junior staff.
  • Mentor and train junior staff.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or other related field is required.
  • 6 years of experience in Civil Engineering, focused on stormwater design and modeling.
  • P.E. license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Engineering Software Experience: HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), HEC-HMS, EPA/XP/PC SWMM, InfoWorks, Autodesk SSA, Hydraflow, ArcGIS Pro.
  • Active membership in professional societies is a plus.
