HDR is seeking a Stormwater Business Class Lead in the Washington area to lead and grow the stormwater group, oversee ongoing projects, and collaborate with senior leadership to implement technical and business strategies. This role emphasizes staff development, project management, and cross‑functional teamwork to deliver high‑quality water treatment projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience in engineering or related field.
• Professional registration or license in engineering
• Experience in development and management of diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow HDR's Washington stormwater group and oversee projects in the region.
• Develop and implement technical and business strategies with leadership and marketing teams.
• Coordinate with Water Business Group Manager, Market Sector Leads, and Business Development Manager.
• Oversee project delivery, quality assurance, and professional discipline within the team.
• Mentor staff, recruit, train, and manage engineers and junior personnel.
• Collaborate on marketing initiatives and strategic planning for the business class.
