Job summary

Town of Parker is seeking a Stormwater Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair stormwater facilities, assist in projects, and support the Stormwater Division. The role involves operating equipment, performing manual labor, and ensuring safety in a dynamic outdoor setting.

The Technician I–III progression offers training and certifications, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience. This is an on-site position with a focus on teamwork and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Driver's License issued by the State of Colorado for the type of vehicle or equipment operated; safe driving record.
• Ability to operate and maintain stormwater-related equipment and perform physical labor.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow directions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and improves stormwater facilities throughout the Town.
• Operates mowers, backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, and other equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Performs manual labor such as shoveling, vegetation control, erosion control, and installation of safety features.
• Inspects infrastructure, documents inspections and maintenance, and reports on progress to supervisors.
• Assists with annual special projects and supports the Stormwater Division in day-to-day operations.
