Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. invites applications for an Engineer in Training to join our water resources team as a Stormwater Engineer in Portland, Oregon.

You will assist with designing stormwater facilities and other water resources projects, and collaborate with project managers and senior engineers. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program and at least one year of relevant stormwater experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
  • At least one year of relevant stormwater engineering experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the design of stormwater management facilities and other water resources projects.
  • Collaborating with project managers and senior engineers.
  • Research, planning, and calculations.
  • Supporting preparation of reports, technical memoranda, cost estimates, specifications, design plans, studies, and permits.
  • Some travel will be required
