Job summary
Arcadis is seeking a Stormwater Engineer in South Carolina to support our Transportation Team. You will contribute to planning and design of stormwater and drainage infrastructure across intersections, arterials, expressways, and interchanges, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative mobility solutions for DOT and municipal clients.
The role requires extensive experience in drainage design, roadway hydrology, and coordination with engineers, with opportunities to lead junior
Qualifications
- 7+ years of drainage design and project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- EIT certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design roadway drainage and design-build projects across the southeast.
- Assist in drainage design including bridge hydraulics, culvert design, and erosion control.
- Prepare construction plans, cost estimates, reports and memos.
- Utilize design software (Bentley/ESRI/Autodesk) to aid construction plan preparation.
- Coordinate with project managers, ecologists, and roadway engineers; supervise junior engineers.
