Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Stormwater Construction Foreman with heavy equipment expertise to lead critical stormwater projects in the central states. You will supervise underground utilities work, concrete structures, and basins while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires 5-7 years in underground wet utility construction, ability to operate skid loaders and mini-excavators, and strong budget/staff management.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of underground wet utility construction experience is required.
• Experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (Skid Loader, Mini-Excavator, etc.)
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and staff.
• Ability to do frequent out-of-town regional travel (85% or more travel required)
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. We are a drug-free workplace.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation.
• Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions.

Position: Stormwater Construction Foreman (Heavy Equipment/Concrete)
Location: Athens, PA
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, 40-55 hours per week
Regional Travel: Required, typically 85% or more through company vehicle. We provide $68 per diem on out-of-town travel days.
