Job description

Position: Stormwater Construction Foreman (Heavy Equipment/Concrete)

Location: Athens, PA

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full-Time, 40-55 hours per week

Regional Travel: Required, typically 85% or more through company vehicle. We provide $68 per diem on out-of-town travel days.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair critical stormwater infrastructure, including underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins across the central states.
• Operate advanced construction equipment, from hand‑held and power tools to heavy machinery such as skid loaders, excavators, and dozers.
• Travel during the week to new locations, contributing to project success.
• Document field observations to aid project success and drive continuous improvement.
• Prioritize safety, upholding the highest safety standards on every project.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of underground wet utility construction experience.
• Experience repairing and constructing stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (skid loader, mini‑excavator, etc.).
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and staff.
• Ability to perform frequent out‑of‑town regional travel (85% or more travel required).
• Must pass a pre‑employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. We are a drug‑free workplace.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions.
