Job summary

The Town of Johnstown is seeking an Engineer II to join our team in a full-time, on-site role focused on storm drainage development review and capital improvement project management. Responsibilities include coordinating engineering projects, reviewing submittals, and ensuring compliance with stormwater requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, have 4+ years of storm drainage or water quality experience, and possess a Colorado PE license plus ASFPM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in storm drainage or water quality with varied civil engineering design and construction project experience.
• PE certification with the State of Colorado and ASFPM certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage storm drainage development review and capital improvement project management.
• Perform engineering work and project management involving coordination of engineering projects and planning components of the Town's infrastructure.
• Review submittals for development projects and ensure compliance with stormwater requirements.
