Job summary

The Town of Johnstown, in Northern Colorado, seeks an Engineer II to protect communities through stormwater management and resilient infrastructure design. This full-time role focuses on storm drainage development review and capital improvement projects, with a PE Colorado and ASFPM certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in storm drainage or water quality.
• PE certification with the State of Colorado.
• ASFPM certification.

Responsibilities

• Review submittals for development projects.
• Perform engineering work and project management for storm drainage development review and capital improvement project management.
• Coordinate and manage engineering projects and planning components for the Town’s infrastructure.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field

4+ years experience in storm drainage or water quality

PE certification (Colorado)

ASFPM certification
