Job summary

XKIG in Dayton, OH is seeking a CDL Driver to operate heavy equipment for vegetation management on electrical lines. This is a safety‑sensitive, full‑time role requiring a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card, with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather and travel for storm restoration as needed.

You will follow safe practices, assist in equipment prep, perform daily maintenance, and help lead crew activities under the Foreperson's direction.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable about safe operation of all equipment.
• Must maintain physical stamina to climb into and around mobile equipment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material.
• Assist in equipment and material prep for daily work.
• Perform daily maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment.
• Lead or assist crew members under Foreperson direction.
• Ensure job sites are safe and debris is cleared.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.
