Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Storm Damage Assessor (Seasonal) in our Distribution department to lead field data collection, inspect distribution equipment, and support restoration efforts after storms. Role requires travel, on-site work, and proficiency with Microsoft Office on mobile devices.

You will supervise a two-person team, document damage with photos and GPS coordinates, and prepare detailed client reports while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years lineman experience required for inspections.
• Proficient with smartphones/tablets for data entry.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong map-reading and navigation skills.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two-person field team to assess damaged distribution equipment.
• Complete detailed damage reports with accurate field data.
• Capture photos and document GPS coordinates for each site.
• Inspect poles, wires, transformers, and related components.
• Maintain a professional appearance when interacting with clients.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and schedules.
