Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine storekeeping duties in a warehouse, canteen, commissary, or storeroom; operate related equipment; recommend storage methods; lead/supervise staff and offenders involved in inventory tasks.
  2. Receive, unpack, inspect, label, and store inventory items; operate cash register; price items; stock shelves; operate material handling equipment.
  3. Fill requisitions; prepare items for delivery or shipment; order inventory; maintain records of inventory activities.
  4. Conduct physical inventories; maintain clean and organized storage areas; work independently under supervision; perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Two or more years of experience as a Stores Clerk with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System and a high school diploma or equivalent, OR two or more years of experience maintaining inventory and records and a high school diploma or equivalent. Earned college credit hours may substitute for experience at a rate of 30 hours per year.

All required documents must be received by the closing date.

This position may be eligible for a shift differential of $173.34 semi-monthly for qualifying shifts and work locations. The department offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase every two years up to 20 years of service. We promote from within and recognize distinguished service.
