Job summary

Eriez, a leader in magnetic separation and material handling, is seeking a Stores Coordinator for the Wager facility. You will issue materials, manage inventory, and respond to internal department requests, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely fulfillment.

The role requires basic math, the ability to read drawings, safe operation of tools, and forklift competency. A high school diploma is preferred and a valid driver’s license is expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math including decimals and fractions.
  • Capable in the use of computers and software for moving and issuing parts.
  • Forklift certification required; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and deliver Storeroom items using picklists and requisitions.
  • Place stock in assigned locations, properly labeled.
  • Communicate stock shortages and overages.
  • Load or unload materials manually from pallets, benches, shelves, carts or lifting devices.
  • Operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks.
  • Remove scrap crates and skids; keep area clean and safe.
  • Assist on receiving dock and unload shipments with forklift.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Stores Coordinator for our Wager facility. This position is responsible for ensuring timely issuance of materials and maintaining accurate inventory control. The role involves responding to requests from various departments, assessing inventory availability, and fulfilling those requests in an efficient and timely manner.

Required Education & Experience:
  • A high school diploma is preferred.
  • Previous job experience preferred but not required.
  • It’s a benefit if you’ve worked with powered and manual tools before.
  • Requires basic math and technical skills.
  • Capable in the use of computers and associated software as it pertains to moving and issuing parts within the Eriez Manufacturing facilities.
  • Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities include
  • Issue and deliver Storeroom items using picklists and requisitions.
  • Place stock in assigned locations, properly labeled.
  • Communicate stock shortages and overages.
  • Loading or unloading materials manually, off or on pallets, benches, shelves, carts or lifting devices.
  • Operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks.
  • Remove scrap wooden crates and skids and sheet metal scraps from the building as needed.
  • Helping on the receiving dock to start learning the process.
  • Unload incoming shipments on receiving dock with forklift, pallet jack.
  • Able to operate tools including but not limited to, hand tools, manual machine tools, torch, drill press, etc.
  • Ability to learn and utilize Eriez labor and work order collection system.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Report to manager regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards
  • Commitment to organization and the Eriez 5S initiative
  • Demonstrate a safety focused mindset
  • Complete tasks timely and efficiently in accordance with expectations as directed by manager
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Able to write legibly and read and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math including decimals and fractions.
  • Able to use hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Forklift certification required. Training can be provided through company.
  • Able to perform all receiving duties.
Essential Functions of Eriez Manufacturing Jobs
  • Required to pass a pre-employment occupational physical.
  • Possess the ability to recognize and avoid safety hazards.
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for an extended period.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.This includes the ability to alternate between sitting and standing.
  • Be physically active for long periods without experiencing excessive fatigue.
  • Must have manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
  • Must be able to see details at close range and at distance with or without corrective lenses.
  • Ability to communicate and understand information to and from another employee.Must possess the ability to adjust to a dynamic work environment.

Hourly Pay: $19.05/Hr. to $20.96/Hr. (Commensurate with Experience)
