Job summary

Eriez is seeking a Parts Finisher for the 2nd shift at our Asbury Road facility to perform routine finishing, sanding, polishing, and deburring on metal parts to meet quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, operate hand tools and machines, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following routings and work instructions. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and willingness to learn our labor and order collection system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math.
• Able to follow routings, details, work instructions, spec sheets, and sales order copies.
• Willing to perform duties in other work areas as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Finish parts as specified by drawings and specs.
• De-burr work pieces with files, grinders, sanders, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Operate overhead cranes and clamping devices.
• Learn Eriez labor and work order collection system.
• Notify supervisor of faulty equipment or materials.
• Perform miscellaneous labor duties as assigned.
• Read and understand drawings and shop packets.
• Complete tasks timely and efficiently under supervision.
• Able to operate tools including hand tools and manual machine tools.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Parts Finisher to join our 2nd shift team in Asbury Road facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine finishing operations in sanding, polishing, and deburring on various metal parts to ensure they meet Eriez's quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Finish parts as specified by drawings/spec. sheets.
• De-burr work pieces with the use of files, grinders, sanders, etc.
• Use proper techniques to clean work pieces.
• Operate overhead cranes, clamping devices.
• Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Perform miscellaneous labor jobs.
• Able to read and understand drawings and shop packets.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Complete tasks timely and efficiently in accordance with expectations as directed by supervisor.
• Able to operate tools including but not limited to, hand tools and manual machine tools.
• Ability to learn Eriez labor and work order collection system.
• Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.

Hourly Pay Range

$17.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. Base Pay (Commensurate with Experience) + 6% second shift differential premium
