Job summary

Valmont Industries in Valley, NE is seeking a Storeroom Attendant for the first shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). You will oversee receiving, issuing and movement of materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and alignment with Valmont specifications.

Supervised by the Department Supervisor, you’ll contribute with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include audits, information flow to dispatchers, and maintaining safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and BOMs.
• Ability to pass forklift driver’s test.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to deliver high-quality results on time.

Responsibilities

• Receive, issue, and move material accurately within the plant.
• Coordinate with QA and material control for non-conforming items.
• Support inventory accuracy in storeroom and during receiving/issuing of materials.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the storeroom area.
