Job summary

RoyOMartin is hiring a Storeroom Team Member in Chopin, LA. The role supports receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials, maintains inventory accuracy, and coordinates vendors and site services. Entry level with emphasis on safety, organization, and teamwork.

The candidate should be computer proficient, possess strong communication, and be capable of multi-tasking in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Certification accomplishments and on-site training are valued.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; willingness to learn and grow.
• Understand commonly used business concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior receiving and/or storeroom experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and unload material deliveries.
• Notify and/or deliver materials to the customer.
• Scan/file receiving paperwork.
• Maintain organization and labeling of spare part shelves in storerooms.
• Coordinate orders and deliveries for site operational supplies, PPE, fuels, lubes, gases and consumables.
• Coordinate outbound shipment, repair, and return of assets.
• Ensure PPE compliance when on site.
• Resolve blocked invoices for storeroom purchases.
• Conduct cycle counts and audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and shrinkage.
• Travel to other facilities for trainings may be required.
