Job summary

American Gypsum Company LLC is seeking a Storeroom & Inventory Clerk to maintain the plant's maintenance storeroom and spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and documentation to support daily operations.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking parts, managing inventory in Oracle ERP, conducting counts, coordinating with Procurement, and providing backup purchasing support while upholding safety and organized records.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and maintain inventory records.
• Basic computer skills, data entry and electronic recordkeeping.
• Ability to read and understand purchase orders and receiving docs.
• Ability to communicate with plant personnel, vendors, and other departments.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the maintenance storeroom and designated parts-storage areas.
• Receive, stock, organize, and issue maintenance parts and supplies.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Maintain inventory records in Oracle ERP.
• Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Provide backup purchasing/procurement support as needed.
