Mars Topeka plant is seeking a Storeroom Coordinator to manage storeroom operations, cycle counts, and inventory integrity in Days shift. You will guide MRO attendants, add stock, track budgets, and resolve ordering discrepancies to keep parts flowing for maintenance and production.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email/internet.
• Strong action orientation and self-motivation.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication with internal/external customers and vendors.
• Understanding of maintenance budgets, cost estimating and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate storeroom window operations, cycle counts, inventory reduction, parts retrieval, and parts kitting.
• Direct MRO storeroom attendants.
• Add new parts to stock provided by maintenance planners.
• Understand principles of inventory control and budget expectations.
• Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders and services tracking.
• Assist sourcing of failed parts from alternative vendors.
• Arrange for emergency pick-up and delivery for urgent parts.
• Coordinate daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
