Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring for Storeroom Attendant positions at Luther College in Decorah, IA. Both full-time and part-time roles are available with hours Monday through Friday; training is provided if needed and prior receiving experience is preferred.

The role includes stocking, inventory, and strict adherence to storage and safety protocols. That means you’ll manage inventories, rotate stock, and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Preferred previous receiving experience.
• Willing to train if no prior experience.
• Able to work Monday through Friday; hours may vary.

Responsibilities

• Inventories and maintains necessary supplies for the Food Service Department.
• Stores food and supplies in correct containers and storage areas.
• Maintains records of storage temperatures for perishable items.
• Dates, labels, and rotates stock using oldest-product-first.
• Orders food and supplies per company procedures.
• Secures areas to prevent theft and follows safety procedures for storeroom.
• Transports supplies to ensure arrival in good condition.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for receiving and distributing food.
• Reports maintenance or repairs of equipment as needed.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports per corporate policy.
• Follows MSDS directions for cleaning chemicals and safe use of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
