Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring immediately for Catering Attendant positions at Luther College in Decorah, IA. The pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour with flexible scheduling for events. Previous food service experience is preferred and the role may involve driving a catering delivery truck.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations.
• Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean location after events.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards.
• Stock, clean, and maintain catering facility and equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
