Job summary

Continental is seeking a Storeroom Clerk to support Engineering Services Storeroom operations across shifts, handling warranty items, parts procurement after hours, and SAP article maintenance.

You will attend meetings with the Engineer Manager and may cover other Storeroom Clerks during vacations, while ensuring inventory control, ESH compliance, and safety guidelines are followed. This role involves physical tasks in a non-climate controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
• Inventory Management Experience preferred.

The Storeroom Clerk will:

Assist with the administration of the operation of Engineering Services Storeroom on one of five (5) shifts & manage Storeoom activities on assigned shifts, including receiving and delivery roles

• Receive and process warranty items.
• Perform expenditures service after hours to acquire parts to restore machine production.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of SAP articles.
• Attend meetings required by the Engineer Manager.
• Must be able to cover other Storeroom Clerks vacation time when needed.
• Responsible for the financial accountabilities of the Storeroom inventory.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Storeroom Manager or Engineering Manager.

The starting annual salary for this role is $44,824 a year.

• New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includesevenings and weekends.
• The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
