Job summary

Canteen is hiring an ATTENDANT, STOREROOM for our Houston location at 15525 Milner Road, Houston, TX 77032. This full-time role handles receiving, storage and inventory of departmental supplies and food, with a focus on sanitation and stock accuracy.

You will work Thursday through Tuesday with details provided at interview. Ideal candidates have food handling and stocking experience, plus ability to operate coffee machines and maintain storeroom safety and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Food handling, stocking, and coffee machine upkeep as part of daily responsibilities.
• Stock organization and inventory control per department guidelines.
• Adherence to food safety and HACCP practices in storeroom operations.

Responsibilities

• Inventories and maintains necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
• Stores food and supplies in correct containers and in proper storage areas according to guidelines.
• Maintains records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable items.
• Dates, labels, and rotates stock according to procedures such as oldest product being utilized first.
• Orders food and supplies based on product specifications and company procedures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
