Millenniumsoft is seeking a Storeroom Attendant for the Integrated Supply team in Middletown, CT. This onsite role supports daily receiving, stocking and cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory at the customer site.

The position runs 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM with training on the 1st shift for two weeks. Prior customer service and inventory control experience is preferred; compensation includes a $18.00–$21.00 per hour pay rate and potential for temp-to-hire conversion.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately sort, label, move and store items; organize storage.
• Issue products to site employees and document issued items.
• Enter stock data into computer systems; respond to inquiries and track deliveries.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
• Deliver tools or equipment to work locations; locate lost items.
• Inspect tools/equipment for defects and report issues; perform basic servicing.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

• Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer’s location to fulfil daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory. They are responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment.
• Hours: 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Sunday to Thursday
• Training will be on 1st shift for 2 weeks: Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm
• Temp to hire
• Looking for background with Customer Service and Inventory Control
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work (including training schedule).
• Will be the only Vallen person working during portions of their shift.
• Will issue parts and materials. Will assist with inventory.
• Must be able to read and understand written directions. Basic math skills required.
• Will use pallet jack and hand truck.
• Computer skills required. The job will require data entry into different computer programs. May use handheld scanner. SAP experience helpful.
• Customer service skills required. This is a customer facing position.
• Must be able to handle being on their feet standing and walking all day (about 1-2 miles per day).
• Lifting requirement: up to 50 lbs
• Dress code: Jeans or durable pants. T-shirt or polo. No shorts, no rips, no vulgar or suggestive language.

Responsibilities

Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and/or equipment; unpacks bales, crates, and other containers; checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.

• Accurately sorts, labels, moves and stores items; places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product codes; arranges storage to optimize crib space.
• Issues product, goods, tools and/or equipment to site employees; documents and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items.
• Enters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieves stored information to respond to inquiries (e.g., inventory levels or delivery schedules.); documents discrepancies on an error log and seeks management advice on appropriate corrective action.
• Requests requisitions to replenish inventory.
• Assists with inventory level maintenance; performs cycle counts and prepares report results.
• Inspects and measures tools/equipment for defects, wear and tear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Delivers tools or equipment to associate work locations.
• Investigates and locates lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies.
• May repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements

3+ months relevant experience and/or training. High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).

Relevant Experience And/or Aptitude Should Include

• Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; preferred technical skills to include but not limited to MS-Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
• Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
• Demonstration of attention to detail and is safety minded.
