Job summary

Millenniumsoft is seeking a Storeroom Attendant - Integrated Supply for an onsite role in East Peoria, IL. This 3-month contract on W2 requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with training on first shift for 3–4 weeks.

A forklift may be used and certification provided on the job. The role involves receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting at the customer site, maintaining a clean and safe work

Qualifications

• 3+ months relevant warehouse experience or training.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to read documents such as safety rules and work orders.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and safety mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and equipment; checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels, moves and stores items according to size, style or product codes.
• Issues items to site employees and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items.
• Enters stock data into a database and maintains up-to-date stock records; responds to inquiries.
• Requests requisitions to replenish inventory and assists with cycle counts.
• Delivers tools or equipment to work locations and assists with inventory control.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Job Summary

• Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer’s location to fulfil daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory. They are responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment.1st shift, 6am-2:20pm
• Training will be on first shift Mon-Fri for the first 3-4 weeks. Hours 7am-320pm.
• Temp to hire.
• When submitting a candidate, please provide last 4 of SSN and middle initial so manager can check if they are eligible to hold a badge at Caterpillar.
• This position can be physically demanding. Associates may walk up to 4.5 miles daily and go up/down stairs an average of 18-20 times throughout a shift.
• Someone with a good attitude, willingness to learn, and works well on a team would be the best match for this job.
• DRIVER’S LICENSE IS REQUIRED. Do not submit unless candidate has current valid driver’s license.
• Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in the customer’s industrial facility by performing the following duties: Receiving, Disbursing, Auditing, various other site specific duties.
• Will drive battery operated cart between 3 buildings on campus on a daily basis doing deliveries, picking up material, going to the dock, etc.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Good customer service skills required
• Must be familiar with a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• May use ladder to stock parts on shelves, up to 8 feet. Ladder is equipped with a safety mechanism that locks ladder in place and railings.
• Previous warehouse experience a plus.
• Will drive a forklift. Forklift experience a plus but not required. Will certify on the job if needed.
• Warehouse has heat in the winter, but no AC in summer - it can get pretty warm.
• Steel toe shoes are required. Once converted to FTE - will be required to obtain steel toe shoes with internal metatarsals.

• May be required to pass forklift and/or other warehouse equipment certifications (written and/or driving).
• Assigned work shifts may vary and/or rotate.

• Must be able to handle and work physical inventory; required to lift up to 25 lbs or greater with assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and/or equipment; unpacks bales, crates, and other containers; checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sorts, labels, moves and stores items; places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product codes; arranges storage to optimize crib space.
• Issues product, goods, tools and/or equipment to site employees; documents and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items.
• Enters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieves stored information to respond to inquiries (e.g., inventory levels or delivery schedules.); documents discrepancies on an error log and seeks management advice on appropriate corrective action.
• Requests requisitions to replenish inventory.
• Assists with inventory level maintenance; performs cycle counts and prepares report results.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Delivers tools or equipment to associate work locations.
• Investigates and locates lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Education & Experience

• 3+ months relevant experience and/or training. High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Relevant experience and/or aptitude should include:
• Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment; forklift / cherry picker experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; preferred technical skills to include but not limited to MS-Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
• Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
• Demonstration of attention to detail and is safety minded
