Position Summary

Join our exciting & dedicated team at Vallen as a Storeroom Crib Attendant. In this position, you will work at a customer's location to fulfill daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. You will also be responsible for maintaining a professional, clean, and organized work environment.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives, and puts away incoming product, goods, tools, and/or equipment; checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels, moves, and stores items; arranges storage to optimize space.
• Issues product, documents records, maintains accurate inventory records.
• Enters data into a database; responds to inquiries; reports discrepancies.
• Replenishes inventory; performs cycle counts; prepares reports.
• Inspects tools/equipment for defects; reports damage.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory.
• Delivers tools or equipment; investigates lost or misplaced items.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ months relevant experience/training.

Relevant Experience And/or Aptitude

• Warehouse experience, forklift/cherry picker preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, instructions.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS-Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 preferred.
• Basic math skills; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team and be self-motivated.
• Attention to detail and safety-mindedness.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Work may be in extreme hot or cold environments, dusty conditions, handling hazardous materials, and may require PPE. Certifications for forklift or warehouse equipment may be needed. Physical tasks include lifting up to 25 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
