Position Summary

Join our exciting & dedicated team at Vallen as a Storeroom Crib Attendant. You will work at a customer's location to fulfill daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory, maintaining a professional, clean, and organized environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Unload, receive, and store incoming products, goods, tools, and equipment; check for damage and discrepancies.
  • Sort, label, move, and store items efficiently; optimize storage space.
  • Issue products and maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
  • Update stock records in computerized systems; respond to inquiries about inventory levels and delivery schedules.
  • Request replenishments and assist with inventory counts and reports.
  • Inspect tools/equipment for defects and report damages.
  • Maintain periodic or perpetual inventory records.
  • Deliver tools or equipment to work locations and locate misplaced items.
  • Perform repairs or maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ months relevant experience or training.

Relevant Experience and Skills

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods; forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, work orders, and manuals.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS-Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 preferred.
  • Basic math skills, including measurement and percentage calculations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and be self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

May include working in extreme temperatures, dusty conditions, handling hazardous materials, and operating warehouse equipment. Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and visual acuity. Overtime and shift rotations may be required.
